SICCAS™W-2 External Wall Self-Cleaner

Introduction:
The SICCAS™W-2 External Self-Cleaner has been specifically designed to be an additive for self-cleaning exterior coatings. The additive is an aqueous solution containing nanocrystalline TiO2 materials, which can improve the anti-contamination and weather-proof performance of exterior coatings efficiently.
The additive can be used through spray coating process, and forms a protective layer of exterior coating. The nanocrystalline materials in the layer can decompose organic-contamination into harmless carbon dioxide and water under the sunlight irradiation. Furthermore, the nanocrystalline materials can absorb the high-energy ultraviolet light of sunlight, and then protect exterior coating layer from unfavourable photodegradations, meaning the good weather-proof performance.

On the assessment of contamination resistance ability of exterior wall, the common used method is “Contamination Resistance Ability Test Method for Buildings’ Paint and Coating (GB 9780-2005)”
The SICCAS™ W-2 External Self-Cleaner’s Contamination Resistance test, conducted by authoritative inspection organizations, “Shanghai Institute of Quality Inspection and Technical Research” and “National Research Center of Testing Techniques for Building Materials”, shows that the contamination resistance ability improved by 61%, which indicate the product owns prominent self-cleaning effect.

Using Methods:
SICCAS™ W-2 can be used through spray coating process, and forms a protective layer of exterior coating. Concentrated solution of the additive can be spray coated (or brush coated) on the surface of exterior coating layer after water-diluting (volume ratio: 1:5-6). The recommended dosage is per kilogram additive using for 150-200 m2.

Product Briefs
The product has been specifically designed to be a health protective coating for residential environment. The coating is an aqueous solution containing nanocrystalline TiO2 composite, which can remove harmful gas (like formaldehyde, toluene, NOx, et.al) and depress the growth of pathological bacteria. The coating generates a transparent layer on surface of interior wall and furnishing with durable air purification and anti-bacterial effects.

Product categories:
SICCAS N-4: Cover-up agent, applied by spray or brush coating process on the surface of interior coating, stone, or wood et.al. Surface drying time of the product is less than 30 min under room temperature.
SICCAS N-5: Add-in agent, 5-10 wt.% mixed in interior latex coating to supply environmental protection functions.

Introduction:
SICCAS™ B-5 Glass Self-Cleaner has been specifically designed to be a surface coating for self-cleaning glass. The surface coating is an aqueous solution containing nanocrystalline TiO2 composite, which can generate a transparent layer on glass surface with durable self-cleaning effect. In addition, the material can be used easily through atomized spray coating (or brush coated) process on the surface of glass, plastic, or metals.

Using Methods:

Product value:
Traditional glass curtain wall cleaning depends on "Spider-Man" in high-altitude operations. The work is time&effort consuming, and the resulting waste water sludge also pollutes the environment. Glass self-cleaning material can very well solve the above problems. Brushing the glass wall of wall self-cleaning material can improve the air quality in buildings and its surrounding environment. It is estimated that for every 15 m2 brushing the walls of glass is equivalent to a poplar in purifying effect.
